Security check in Terminal 3 is temporarily out of service

To help you get off to a good start on your holiday, here are some important tips for travelling from Stuttgart Airport.

Like everywhere else, there are peak times at Stuttgart Airport - especially in the early morning and afternoon. During these time slots, there may be waiting times at the security checkpoint and at check-in.

We recommend that you have all your ID and required travel documents to hand. The respective airline's hand luggage regulations should also be observed.

Tip: If you like to plan carefully, you can book a time slot for the security check in advance to reduce waiting times.

Important: It is best to plan your journey to the airport at least 2 hours before departure.

More than 3 hours earlier is not necessary. The German Federal Police recommends arriving at the security checkpoint at least 90 minutes before departure.

Even if the airport is quieter at other times, these travel recommendations will help you get off to a relaxed start.
